Allan Renton was born in Edinburgh on August 24, 1936. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family. A man who unselfishly shared the responsibility of four step children. A dad he was in every sense of the word. Any man can father a child but it takes a real man to stay, support and love their children through the good times and bad times. My dad did just that for us all and worked very hard to provide not only daily life necessities but also to enable us to go holidays abroad.He was sensitive underneath and had a tender heart. His taste in music was of the romantic variety.. Lady in Red, Power of Love to name a few. His love of reading was dominantly crime novels. He had an analytical mind and was particularly good at crosswords and mathematics. I love and miss my dad and will always remember and appreciate what he did for the family he so devoted himself to until the day he died. One should never take such a person for granted.
